Fresh Start Initiative is a nonprofit dedicated to serving the unhoused, veterans, single mothers, families, and anyone in our community facing hardship.
Our mission is simple:
Restore dignity, confidence, and opportunity through grooming, hygiene support, and direct community outreach.
I personally go out into the community and participate in every outreach event we host. I provide free, professional haircuts, deliver hygiene support, and most importantly, spend time listening to people’s stories. Many of the individuals we serve are preparing for job interviews, rebuilding their lives, or simply trying to regain a sense of dignity.
Along with haircuts, we distribute Fresh Start hygiene gift bags filled with essentials like soap, deodorant, socks, toothbrushes, combs, and more. These items may seem small, but for someone facing hardship, they can make a tremendous difference in confidence and personal comfort.
